A parliamentary delegation led by MP Jason Azzopardi, and including MP Angelo Farrugia and MP Frederick Azzopardi, are attending the first winter meeting of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly, which started in Vienna yesterday

The winter meeting shall consist of meetings of the Standing Committee and the three general committees of the Parliamentary Assembly. The meeting will be opened and concluded by joint sessions of the three general committees of the Assembly.

During these joint sessions the OSCE chair-in-office and the OSCE secretary general will brief the Assembly’s members on the latest developments and activities of the OSCE.

The Maltese delegates will be participating in the meetings of the three committees, that is, the committee on political affairs and security, the committee on economic affairs, science, technology and environment, and the committee on democracy, human rights and humanitarian questions.
