MSB Valletta Limited – www.msbvalletta.com – has announced that as from 1 June, it will be entering into its second phase of restructuring. MSB Valletta is Malta’s leading loss adjusting and surveying operation and dates back to 1979. The company’s present core services include cargo surveying, claims recovery as well as fire safety and health and safety consultancy.
The second phase starts with the appointment of Matthew Joslin B. Mech. Eng. (Hons) as CEO. He brings to the company a wealth of international and local expertise and will be dedicating his knowledge and expertise to the day-to-day full-time running of MSB Valletta Ltd.
He is an accomplished mechanical engineer with an extensive career in industrial and business management. He brings with him a wealth of experience, having undertaken numerous projects in various continents and occupied a number of senior management positions within highly regarded companies including Merit (Malta) Ltd and Methode Electronics (Malta) Ltd.
He has established an engineering consultancy unit, Value Engineering Services, which serviced market niches in business engineering, ISO 9001:2000 certifications, pre-risk and loss adjustment surveying, cost reduction programmes and related management services.
A company statement said the directors are conscious of the fact that, with the conclusion of what was effectively a three-year re-engineering exercise carried out under the guidance of the company’s outgoing Executive Chairman, Joseph E. Grech, MSB Valletta Ltd is now fully geared to effectively handle its current core business and is also ideally set to embark on new strategies to introduce and implement diversification in MSBV’s services. Mr Joslin’s qualifications, experience and background will serve him well to achieve these objectives.
Mr Grech, who will be leaving on 30 June, reaffirms that “the company’s current service-oriented culture, plus its technical team of well-qualified and experienced personnel, guarantees the professional handling of the growing and more intricate demands from customers and prospects.”
