Malta Independent Tuesday, 23 May 2006, 00:00 Last update: about 12 years ago

Fuego Salsa Bar in St Julian’s will be treating all football World Cup “widows” on Wednesday with a night to remember packed with surprises and guest DJs.

Mark Grima, owner of Fuego, said the World Cup widows’ night is open to all those who feel estranged because of the football extrabonanza: “The girls’ nights at Fuego, known as Las Chicas, have proved to be very popular, especially due to the surprises in store for them. The final night of the Las Chicas will be dedicated to all those women who feel ‘left out’ by their partners as a result of the upcoming football World Cup,” said Fuego owner Mark Grima.

“These popular events were dedicated to women and are packed with guest performers and surprises. Fuego’s Las Chicas is hosted by personality jock Graham Charles and several international guest DJs. During the event, all female patrons are entitled to half-priced drinks until midnight,” Grima said.

Meanwhile, Fuego will be hosting once again the popular Jungle Fever nights as from 31 May. For more information on Fuego St Julian’s and Fuego Qawra visit www.fuego.com.mt.
