Women Charged with forging Russian passports

Two women were yesterday charged with forging a Russian passport and supplying the Immigration Police with false information on Tuesday.

Aurica Cuciuc, 36 and Ludmilla Davidova, 41, both from Moldova, pleaded guilty to forging the Russian passport. Magistrate Anthony Vella jailed the women for six months suspended for two years.

Police inspector Jeffrey Cilia prosecuted while Dr Richard Sladden appeared for the defendants.
