The third edition of the Dingli annual goat and sheep show will be held on Sunday 4 June at Gnien il-Haddiem, Madliena Road, Dingli from 8am till 11am, when the presentation ceremony will be held.

The show will be held under the auspices of parliamentary secretary for agriculture and fisheries Francis Agius.

The show will include two competitions, one for beauty and one for milking of both sheep and goats. The two competitions will be divided into 44 categories and prizes will be awarded for all categories. An independent jury will decide on the placings of each category.

This year’s show will be characterised by two novelties, one will be a shearing competition for sheep and the other one will be a parade of pigmy goats by children of herdsmen.

All goat and sheep rearers from all localities of Malta can participate. Every one is invited to attend and entrance is free of charge.
