Prime Minister Lawrence Gonzi and several other Ministers are planning to sue Labour Leader Alfred Sant for libel following allegations he made at a political activity in Zebbug on Sunday.

The allegations centre around the government’s proposals for the rationalisation of the development boundaries.

The government yesterday said the Prime Minister and several ministers will be suing Dr Sant for libel.

In a separate statement, the Nationalist Party said that Environment Minister George Pullicino and PN whip Mario Galea will be suing Labour whip Joe Mizzi for libel over comments he made in a statement issued after the incidents that took place in parliament last Wednesday.
