Fuel prices have gone up again according to the established formula to make good for the international rise in oil prices, the Malta Resources Authority said.
The prices go up as from today due to international oil prices increasing from April to May this year.
Unleaded petrol has gone up by 3 mils to 49 cents 7 mils per litre while LRP petrol also increased by 3 mils to 52 cents 7 mils per litre. Diesel increased by 5 mils to 44 cents 1 mil per litre. Kerosene increased by 1 cent and 1 mil to 44 cents 7 mils per litre.
Light heating oil remained stable at 24 cents 5 mils per litre. Thin fuel oil 200 degrees per tonne increased by Lm1 to Lm155. Thin fuel oil 450 degrees also increased by Lm1 to Lm151 per tonne while thin fuel oil 950 degrees also increased by Lm1 to Lm144.50 per tonne.
