Bank of Valletta announced a further increase in interest rates on fixed deposits and follows the increases that came into effect last week.

With immediate effect, and until further notice, BOV is offering higher interest rates on one and two year fixed deposits. BOV customers opening a fixed deposit account can now earn up to 3.85 per cent gross interest per annum on a two year fixed deposit The rate of interest applicable on new one year fixed deposits is now 3.70 per cent gross per annum.

These new higher interest rates continue to position BOV as the bank of choice for the Maltese depositor and underline BOV’s commitment to offer attractive rates of interest to its customers.
