The Malta Federation of Professional Associations commemorated 12 June as the day of the professionals.

The federation said it has worked during the last 35 years towards unifying all professionals and it was set up to create the environment necessary for the development of an interdisciplinary approach.

The aim of the federation is to unite as many professionals as possible by uniting their respective organisations under one umbrella organisation.

The federation has been active through its contacts in Brussels and it was also involved with the Commonwealth Foundation (CF).
