Following the success of the Playmobil Funpark over the years, Playmobil has now opened its doors to host yet another Playmobil attraction, this time from their Cargo Harbour World.
“It is in keeping with our ongoing commitment to innovation, that Playmobil is still going strong in its 32nd anniversary,” says Anna Agius, marketing and sales manager at Playmobil Malta. “Innovation at Playmobil is linked not only to new products, which average 70 new items per annum, but it also filters through to new technology, new processes and also in the services offered at the various Playmobil Funparks.”
The Cargo Harbour World takes the place of the majestic pirate ship and its crew that are now sailing to new adventures in the Playmobil Funpark in Paris. The Playmobil Funpark also sees the addition of Rico, the Funpark mascot, who has also landed in Malta and plans to embark on a mission to make as many new acquaintances with the locals as possible.
The Cargo Harbour World was inaugurated recently, when an odd 80 schoolchildren stared in awe at the harbour scene that lay in front of them. Their amazement however, did not last long as they were too eager to board the “Titan” cargo ship. Captain at the wheel, the crew members hit the bell and the rest of the crew played blissfully on the jetty.
The Funpark team does not stop here, refurbishment at the Funpark is ongoing and more changes are being implemented in the cafeteria in time for the summer season. Watch out for further news regarding the football fever at the Playmobil Funpark.
The Playmobil Funpark is open daily between 10am and 6pm and as always, the funpark team looks forward to welcome the young and the young at heart.
