Labour leader Alfred Sant on Thursday claimed that the Prime Minister had lost control of his government and the Cabinet.
Speaking at a party activity in women supporters in Wied il-Ghajn on Thursday evening, Dr Sant alleged that numerous cases of abuse of power, administrative incompetence and corruption could be directly attributed to Dr Gonzi leadership and his Cabinet.
He said the government was also responsible for the problems the country was facing: increases in water and electricity bills and the rising cost of living.
The Labour leader said the people were fed up with the situation and wanted a change that would come about through sound leadership and a serious plan of action.
