Professor Philip Baker Lectures on international tax

The international tax courses provided by the Malta Institute of Management are becoming even more international. MIM has ensured the presence and delivery of Professor Philip Baker, a renowned international tax expert, particularly in the area of double taxation agreements and the OECD model,

MIM’s list of international speakers and lecturers for the newly launched Advanced Diploma in International Taxation gives participants a unique opportunity to learn about and experience developments in international taxation.

Professor Philip Baker is a barrister practising in Gray’s Inn and a visiting professorial fellow. His research interests are in international taxation and double taxation conventions. He is a member of the International Tax Sub-committee of the Law Society and a former member of the Council of the Chartered Institute of Taxation. He is joint head of the School of Tax Law at Queen Mary at the University of London.

There are other international tax experts on the Advanced Diploma programme, as well as local tax experts, all of them highly experienced. All participants will have access to a wide selection of reference books and will also be in a position to network and interact with international experts.
