Bank of Valletta has entered into a business strategic alliance with the Maltese-French Chamber of Commerce with BOV being recognised as the official banker of the chamber. Following this agreement, BOV is also an official sponsor of the Maltese-French Chamber of Commerce and will be actively supporting the chamber in the organisation of business events.
Joseph Zammit, Head of Product and Business Development at Bank of Valletta explained how this agreement is expected to enhance the already close business ties that exist between both sides. “We are confident that this agreement will lead to new opportunities for a closer collaboration between Bank of Valletta and the Maltese-French Chamber of Commerce. We view this agreement as being mutually beneficial and we will be seeking to assist each other so as to tap new business opportunities,” said Mr Zammit when he was presenting BOV’s sponsorship.
David Fleri Soler, president of the Maltese-French Chamber of Commerce is positive that with the help of BOV’s contribution, the chamber will be assisted in organising events so as to create a positive atmosphere for its members to develop new business opportunities.
Bank of Valletta will also be placing its services at the disposal of chamber members and assisting them during trade delegations and missions.
Mr Zammit added, “This agreement also forms part of a network of business strategic alliances that Bank of Valletta has been establishing with the major local constituted bodies and business associations. Through these alliances, we are being supportive to the needs of the business associations by supporting their efforts in the best interest of their members”.
As a result of this agreement, Bank of Valletta and the Maltese-French Chamber of Commerce will be forming a joint business committee that will explore and leverage new trade opportunities.
