Last week, the Playmobil distributor in Lebanon visited Playmobil Malta. In addition to the running of the local manufacturing plant and the Playmobil Funpark, Playmobil Malta is also responsible for the coordination of the sales operation in the North African Market and the Middle East, an ever-expanding market for the toy industry of which Lebanon forms part.

Mr G. Tamer Freres, the Playmobil distributor in Lebanon, paid a courtesy visit to the manufacturing plant of Playmobil in Hal Far with the scope of seeking new business opportunities between the two companies and also to develop future business between Malta and Lebanon.

Mr Tamer is also the vice-president of the Lebanese Chamber of Commerce and the Lebanese Industrial Association. During his stay, Mr Tamer met with Victor Galea, president of the Malta Chamber of Commerce and with Adrian Bajjada, president of the Federation of Industries. Discussions over lunch hosted by Helga Ellul, CEO of Playmobil Malta Ltd, were fruitful and are expected to pave the way for a number of business projects between the two countries.
