AX Holdings and the Malta Federation of Industry have signed a 18-month collaboration agreement.

AX Holdings chairman Angelo Xuereb and FOI president Adrian Bajada signed the agreement at the new ballroom in Palazzo Capua, Sliema, earlier this week in the presence of The Victoria Hotel general manager Claire Xuereb and FOI director-general Wilfred Kenely.

Speaking during the signing of the agreement, Mr Xuereb said that the agreement was a further commitment by AX Holdings to support the Maltese business community and to play an active role in the economic development of our country.

“AX Holdings is a major player in the country’s construction and hospitality sectors and, in this context, we are glad to assist the Malta Federation of Industry as one of the most important constituted bodies in our country,” he said.

“It is with this in mind that we continue to seek new ways of extending our collaboration to these institutions, in the hope that what we are doing with the Malta Federation of Industry today, will encourage other trade partners to also seek new initiatives in helping to cement sound trade relations among the island’s various industrial sectors,” Mr Xuereb concluded.

Thanking AX Holdings for its confidence in the federation, Mr Bajada said that through this agreement, AX Holdings was establishing its position as one of the federation’s official sponsoring partners, which will contribute not only by sponsoring a number of FOI activities to be held throughout the year, but also by studying the possibilities of offering FOI members special benefits at the various hotels forming part of the group.
