Malta Independent Tuesday, 11 July 2006, 00:00 Last update: about 12 years ago

Bank of Valletta is participating in the International Fair of Malta, which is being held between 5 and 16 July 2006.

An array of financial products and services directly linked to Financial Planning including Life Assurance, Stockbroking and Investment Funds are being promoted at BOV's main stand as one enters the Trade Fair grounds. The bank has this year also set up a group of Gazebos where BOV relationship officers are welcoming visitors who are interested in a number of Bank of Valletta's products such as the popular BOV Personal Loans, Debit and Credit Cards, Young Savers' accounts, 24X7 Services Package and the recently launched eAccount.

Bank of Valletta has also announced a series of interesting special offers that are being made available to customers during this year's Trade Fair.

Customers who apply and get their BOV Personal Loan approved before the 7th August 2006 will benefit from a loan term extended to 6 years. On loans exceeding Lm5,000, the term is being further extended for up to 7 years. BOV is also waiving its processing fees during this period.

Through another offer, customers applying for a BOV Cashlink Visa and Visa credit card whose application is approved up to the 31st July 2006 will enjoy no card fee for the first year (Lm7 Government Levy on credit cards to be met by customer). New approved applications will also be entitled to a free travel pouch (offer valid until stocks last).

BOV customers can also avail themselves of a time-limited special offer linked to BOV Lifelink Investment Bond. Customers starting a new BOV Lifelink Investment Bond (in Lm or foreign currency) or effecting a top-up of Lm500 or more under an existing BOV Lifelink Investment Bond between the 3rd July 2006 and the 5th August 2006, will be entitled to a free beach bag (offer valid until stocks last) and will be automatically eligible to participate in a lottery (DPL No.67/06) with a Flyaway Tours Package (including taxes) for two persons to EtnaLand, Sicily as a first prize and a weekend break for two at San Lawrenz Kempinski Hotel in Gozo as a second prize. Prizes will be drawn on the 8th of August 2006.

Customers taking up an eAccount, a Personal Loan, applying for BOV Credit or Debit Cards, for the 24x7 suite of delivery channels or for investment products from the Bank's stand at the International Fair of Malta or from any of the Bank's branches, will be entitled to participate in an attractive competition with two participants a day winning a PlayStation Portable (PSP). Eligible customers will be asked to guess the number of transactions effected through BOV ATMs in Malta and Gozo and fill in their details in a competition form which will be available from the BOV Stands. Every day, a PSP will be awarded to two winners whose answers are closest to the correct number of ATM transactions. 24 PSPs will be won in all. Customers setting up an appointment for a FREE Financial Planning Review will also be eligible to participate in this attractive competition.

"We are delighted to offer our customers added value during the International Fair of Malta," states Alan Cassar, Executive Head responsible for Sales and Marketing at Bank of Valletta. "The special offers and value benefits we are making available are designed to reward our customers' loyalty. We also hope that through our stands we will contribute towards making the visitors' visit to the Fair a rewarding one," concluded Mr Cassar.
