The Casino At Portomaso

Malta Independent Sunday, 16 July 2006, 00:00 Last update: about 13 years ago

The opening of “The Casino at Portomaso” was marked by a grand gala night last month, during which guests sipped champagne and enjoyed oysters and other exquisite delicacies while being entertained by jugglers, dancers, singers and magicians. Lights and lasers mounted for this special occasion helped make this the most stylish and glamorous night of 2006!

And when the party was over, “The Casino Brasserie” was still tantalising the guests’ taste buds in a stylish, art deco environment. The Brasserie is managed by Salvatore Sammut, who prides himself on having worked in some of the most prestigious restaurants in Tuscany such as Relais Chateau La Suvera, Ristorante Guido and Osteria La Loggia.

Chef Oliver Grech (previously employed by well known 5-star hotels, Hilton and Corinthia in Malta and Dorchester in London) offered a variety of exquisite flavours from the Mediterranean. Special attention is given to fresh ingredients and fresh fish, which will make every visit a memorable one.

And if people are still hungry after a night out, they can enjoy a special continental buffet breakfast, served every weekend from 2am till late.
