Ira Losco continues to enjoy tremendous success following the release of her second album Accident Prone.
Losco’s album still keeps its prominence in the sales charts, while all five singles released off the album have held top five places on local radio charts. Ira Losco’s music and her dynamic stage presence keep drawing larger crowds to her performances.
“This year I saw a big difference in the Maltese audience reactions, they really do appreciate a good performance. I’ve always believed in giving energetic and good live performances and that’s what makes a good show,” she said.
Ira Losco was recently voted the Bailey’s Woman of The Year. She was presented with a trophy and was also given a sum of money which she will donate to a charity of her choice.
Following her busy summer schedule Ira will be re-entering the studio to work on an interesting upcoming project. She will be working closely with her mentor and producer Howard Keith.
“What I love about my job is that I challenge myself every day. With this new project we’ll be taking on a different approach which will take my music to a new level. I think people are intrigued by the unexpected and that’s what this new project is about” she said.
Ira Losco will be playing her next concert tomorrow at The Farsons’ Great Beer festival at Ta’ Qali, on the Rock Stage at 10.30pm. She will be performing tracks from Someone Else and her latest top selling Accident Prone.’This will be one of her last performances this summer, before re-entering the studio to start working on her upcoming project.
