GlobalCapital has sponsored the Cystic Fibrosis Trust in an attempt to aid these volunteers in their efforts to support and aid research for Cystic Fibrosis (CF) sufferers. Cystic Fibrosis is a genetic disease that affects a number of organs in the body.

At present there is no cure for CF, but the faulty gene has been identified and doctors and scientists are working to find ways of repairing or replacing it. One of the main objectives of the CF Trust is to fund this work.

Through their participation in the International Trade Fair, GlobalCapital has supported the Cystic Fibrosis Trust. Volunteers of the Trust were responsible for the distribution of the Scratch and Win fliers, an integral part of the GlobalCapital campaign throughout the fair.
