Despite her expulsion from her post of Section Secretary of the Public Service sector in the General Workers Union, Josephine Attard Sultana was still one of the seven appointees who will make up the Worker of the Year Award board until the end of 2007.

According to last Tuesday’s Government Gazette, the new Worker of the Year Board is composed as follows: chairman – Anthony Tabone; members – Josephine Attard Sultana, Matilda Balzan, Mario Camilleri, Nicolina Farrugia, Philip Fenech, Pamela Muscat and Gaetano Tanti.

The board is composed of several representatives of unions, employers associations and other similar organisations.

The board’s term began on 26 July and ends on 31 December 2007.
