The first Embassy Bingo Tournament came to a close with Alison Degiorgo emerging as the overall winner, happily receiving the Lm 1,000 cash prize from this week long tournament. Second and third places went to Dolores Vella and Mary Gamhour. They won Lm500 and Lm200 respectively.
Each player started off with 300 credits (collectively worth a sum of Lm15) and throughout tournament week, they had 25 minutes a day in which to win as many points as possible. This meant that each player got to play every day – and the fact that any competitor could get beaten at any point of the week made the tournament a very unpredictable and exciting event.
General Manager Pedro Alejandro Filgueira described the Electronic Bingo Hall at the Embassy Shopping Complex as one that offers an entirely new concept of Bingo. With 30 computerised touch-screen terminals that each offer two different games of bingo, players are guaranteed to enjoy their bingo experience more than ever before. Bingo cards give you the option of playing any sum of money between 5c and Lm20 and each card contains a large amount of possible winning combinations. Apart from that there are also two different jackpots, one for every game. These start from Lm1,000 and can go all the way up to Lm20, 000.
It goes without saying that the Bingo Hall itself provides a highly pleasant environment with comfortable seating, fully air-conditioned, a private ambience, and great service. Food and drinks are available in abundance with customers being entitled to free beverages.
