Tonia Parascandalo, Training Officer at BOV’s Bancassurance Unit, has just returned from Spain where she addressed an international two-day conference organised by EFMA – The European Financial Management & Marketing Association. The conference on the theme, “Product Management – Keys to driving superior product performance” was held at the Rey Juan Carlos Hotel, Barcelona, Spain.

In her address Ms Parascandalo presented a case study and delved on the challenges of developing simple Bancassurance products. Other speakers included representatives from ABN Amro, Barclays, the European Central Bank and UBS. The conference was attended by 120 delegates coming from 28 different countries.

Ms Parascandalo, who is an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute (UK) is a regular speaker on the BOV Investor Education Programme and also lectures at the Mediterranean Insurance Training Centre.
