Boat building, human table football, beach volleyball and tug of war were some of the games that eight teams comprising 12 BOV staff members took part in during the first edition of the “BOV Giochi” Summer Games at the Ramla Bay Resort in Mellieha.

Over 500 staff members, family and friends attended the games and dinner afterwards.

The Orange team made of up of staff members from the South of Malta emerged as winners followed by the Blue Team from the Bank’s Head Office.

The bank’s CEO, Tonio Depasquale presented the prizes to the winners.

Mr Depasquale said: “The teams competed in a number of physical and mental challenges and it was not necessarily the strongest or fastest team that emerged as winner but the team that had the best organisation.”
