Vodafone Malta Limited has renewed its sponsorship of the Vittoriosa Vodafone Regatta Club. This will be the fifth consecutive year in which Vodafone will be supporting the club’s activities, including today’s Regatta tal-Vitorja.
“We are delighted to continue our association with Vodafone.
This support gives us the opportunity to train young rowers and increase the number of races in which we compete,” said Tony Callus, Treasurer of the Vittoriosa Vodafone Regatta Club.
“The continued support will help us to further develop our club and we are very grateful to Vodafone for this,” he said.
“The 8 September Regatta is one of the most popular traditional events.
“It brings together numerous enthusiasts from across the island to watch and cheer for the boats racing in the Grand Harbour,” said brand manager at Vodafone Malta Limited, Alison Bezzina. “We hope that Vodafone’s support to the Vittoriosa Vodafone Regatta Club encourages further participation in such national events.”
Seven localities will be taking part in the traditional Regatta tal-Vitorja, which is being held in the Grand Harbour on Thursday, 8 September – these are Vittoriosa, Senglea, Cospicua, Kalkara, Marsamxett, Marsa and Birzebbuga.
