Multiplus announced its ongoing commitment to providing Italian football fans in Malta an opportunity to view Serie A and Serie B fixtures for the 2006/2007 season.

Multiplus confirmed it has concluded negotiations for the exclusive rights to the home games of 16 out of the 20 Serie A teams, including Milan, Inter, Roma and others.

Furthermore it proudly announced that it has acquired the full rights to air all Juventus home fixtures as well as some other fixtures from Serie B.

The games will be transmitted on the Multiplus Sports+ package which is available at Lm 3 per month.

Multiplus CEO, Jan Spiteri emphasised the popularity of the Sports+ package citing the large following of Italian football fans in Malta and the relatively low price at which Multiplus offers the service. He added that this is only part of an expanding commitment that Multiplus has in store and promised exciting things to come, and soon.
