The Valletta Waterfront, more specifically the main piers of the Waterfront, featured another first two weekends ago when the first edition of The Perfect Wedding Fair was held. This exclusive fair, jointly organised by marketing and event specialists M & E Management Group and renowned wedding planner Sarah Young, featured an exclusive display of the market leaders who offer a range of wedding products and services.

The list of exhibitors included household names such as The Westin Dragonara, John's Garage, Cordina Caterers, Alamango, The Wedding Bells, Cefai's Formal Wear, Cleland & Souchet, Sarah Young Wedding Planning, Fotogenic, James Cocktail Bar Services, Beauty Point by Karen, Love Birds Hair Salon, M & E Management Group, Floreal Flower Shop and Red Carpet Services. Music services were projected by harpist Lydia Buttigieg and Konrad Briffa's band, which performed live at the Fair Bar. Technical logistics of the fair were entrusted to Casapinta Design Group.

The organisers also created a different experience for visitors by offering them free boat crossings across the lagoon from the Waterfront Promenade to the pier.
