Bank of Valletta has signed up as one of the sponsors of this year’s edition of the Voices concerts. The series of concerts on the theme, Voices – One Family, are being held at the Mediterranean Conference Centre until Sunday. As with previous editions of the concert, this year’s Voices concert will again serve as a vehicle with which to raise funds for local charitable and other worthy causes.

“Bank of Valletta is delighted to extend its support towards this most worthy and interesting initiative,” said Michael Galea, head of PR and communication at Bank of Valletta. “Through its extensive Community Programme, Bank of Valletta seeks to support valid initiatives and projects under a number of distinct areas of activity. The Voices concerts fit in well under two important areas that the Bank’s Community Programme seeks to support, namely, the social aspect and the promotion of the arts,” added Mr Galea.

Roger Calleja, chairman of the Voices organising committee thanked Bank of Valletta for the support being extended, stating that support from companies such as Bank of Valletta goes a long way in ensuring that such events are a success. “Voices is a completely non-profit making initiative and these concerts aim to raise money for charitable and other worthy causes”, said Mr Calleja.

“Bank of Valletta’s support is most welcome and supports our organisation to put up a show that promises to be as varied and interesting as past successful Voices concerts,” concluded Mr Calleja.
