During Camilleri Wines’ recent participation at the Birgu by Candlelight event last weekend, where they had their wine stand next to Del Borgo wine bar, the winery launched a special commemorative branded wine glass commissioned specifically for the event. The wine glass bears the Camilleri Wines and Del Borgo logos and served as an excellent souvenir of this successful cultural event.

Camilleri Wines set up their wine stand adjacent to Del Borgo wine bar from where a series of interesting traditional food platters prepared for the night were served to visiting patrons together with Camilleri Wines’ La Croce Wines. Patrons also had the opportunity to purchase the glass and be served La Croce wines in it.

“We were very proud to associate ourselves with this year’s edition of the Malta Historic Cities Festival through our active participation in the Birgu by Candlelight event, an innovative event that was attended by thousands of visitors,” said Camilleri Wines head of sales and marketing Claudio Camilleri.

“Patrons visiting our stand had the opportunity to taste our La Croce brand in a historical setting that is very much in line with the brand’s image, characterised by the distinct eight-pointed cross.”

“Launched almost three months ago, La Croce wines are currently enjoying a spell of success in the local market and also with tourists, who see in our product an excellent reflection of Maltese heritage and historical tradition,” Mr Camilleri concluded.
