Two men who were allegedly involved in a fight on Sunday afternoon in Marsascala were yesterday charged with their involvement and were both remande Kevin Cutajar, 29, from Vittoriosa, was charged with attempting to seriously injure six people when he reversed his car in their direction. The six people included Francis Cassar, from Marsascala, Debora Richard, her parents Carmen and Carmelo Richard and her two children, aged nine and six.
Mr Cutajar was also charged with threatening to shoot Mr Cassar, Ms Richard and Mr and Mrs Richard on Sunday at around 2.30pm in Marsascala. He was further charged with driving dangerously and negligently and breaching the peace.
In a separate arraignment, Mr Cassar was, in turn, charged with repeatedly kicking Mr Cutajar’s Escort, damaging it and breaching the peace.
Before Magistrate Michael Mallia, both men pleaded not guilty to the charges brought against them. They were remanded in custody.
