The Malta Feline Guardians Club starts its year with the first activity being a seminar on Sunday 28 January at the Preluna Hotel & Spa, Sliema at 3pm.

The three speakers, Dr Ivan Galea a veterinary surgeon, Fiona Picton an animal nutritionist and Aveline Mifsud Farrugia a pet groomer, will present slide shows and power point presentations to make this seminar more interesting and informative. Entrance is free of charge; tea, coffee and biscuits will be served.

The first Cat Show the MFGC is holding this year will be at the Coastline Hotel on Sunday 18th February. Cats in this show will be judged by the general public. Sponsors for this show are Gourmet Pearl, supported by Micabliss Persians and Aroma the TV Programme. Applications for the show are now open.

During this show the MFGC will be holding a carnival costume competition for children between 3 and 4.30pm. Trophies and gifts will be given to the child with the most original costume. All children are invited to take part.
