Italian Border police nab sea products coming from Malta

Last week the Italian frontier police blocked the entry of 50kg of sea produce coming from Malta that was being unloaded in Catania.
The sea produce arrived in a vehicle that did not have the proper refrigeration facilities and the proper health documentation. After a check by the veterinary service, the produce was certified as being “unfit for human consumption” and will be destroyed.
