A small news item, which appeared in the Italian newspaper Il Secolo XIX, and which quoted the MTA Milan office and the website visitmalta.com, encourages Italian readers to come to Malta to see the set built for the film Troy, which had also served some years previously as the set of the other blockbuster, Gladiator.
Anybody in Malta can tell Il Secolo XIX that neither film set is still standing nor were the two sets one and the same.
