A man was yesterday remanded in custody after pleading not guilty to stealing a radio from a house in Mellieha.
Priviledge Mupimhidzi, 20, from Zimbabwe, was charged with stealing the radio, which costs less than Lm50, and of relapsing. Before magistrate Giovanni Grixti, the man pleaded not guilty to the charges brought against him. He was remanded in custody.
Police Inspector Therese Sciberras prosecuted while Dr Daniela Mangion appeared for the accused.
