A 17-year-old Ethiopian national has been charged with indecently assaulting a care worker on 19 March.
The boy, whose name is not being published since he is still a minor, was charged with committing an indecent assault at Liedna House in Fgura, which happens to be the boy’s residence and the woman’s place of work.
He was also charged with using violence to hold the woman against her will.
The boy was denied bail and remanded in custody.
Magistrate Joseph Apap Bologna presided over the court. Police inspector Jesmond Borg prosecuted and legal aid Martin Fenech appeared for the accused.
