Angela Saliba has been promoted to the post of executive assistant manager at Le Méridien St Julians, Balluta Bay.

Ms Saliba joins Le Méridien St Julians from the hotel’s sister property, the Westin Dragonara Resort, after more than 10 years in this Starwood property. Starting out in the rooms division, Ms Saliba was later promoted to director of Six Sigma.

During her tenure as director of Six Sigma Black Belt, Ms Saliba also led several successful regional projects for Starwood’s Italy and Central Mediterrean Region. She also worked on divisional projects leading her to being recognised as EAME (Europe, Africa, Middle East) director of Six Sigma Black Belt of the year.

Ms Saliba will be assisting Michael Shannon, general manager in the effective management of Le Méridien St Julians and in striving to develop a culture of continous development in the midst of the new Le Méridien market positioning.
