A Zabbar man yesterday sustained slight injuries due to burns when a garage caught fire in Zabbar. Civil Protection Department members were called on site at Santa Duminka Street at 2pm and controlled the blaze. The man was taken to St Luke’s Hospital where he was found to be suffering from slight injures due to the burns he sustained.

Magistrate Miriam Hayman was informed of the case and appointed several experts to assist in the inquiry.

Police investigations are still under way.
