The well known Schola Cantorum Jubilate will be in Rome between 10 and 17 September.
This is the second time that this youth choir is leaving the Maltese shores though established only seven years ago. In fact their international debut was in November 2003 when they participated in the Rencontres Musicales de Mediterranee Festival in Bastia, Corsica.
During this music-cultural tour in the Eternal City, the choristers will visit the most popular roman sites and enjoy a full-day excursion in Assisi. Their appointments include the Pope’s Audience of Wednesday, masses at the Basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore, at St Peter’s Basilica in the Vatican, at the Basilica of St Francis in Assisi and concerts in churches.
This trip is possible thanks to the collaboration of the Gozo Ministry, MTA, Air Malta and the Maltese Embassy in Rome.
