The Malta Labour Party Health spokesman Michael Farrugia filed a libel case against Bondi+ presenter Lou Bondi, in which he alleged that the presenter claimed that Dr Farrugia asked the Broadcasting Authority to stop the programme from being aired.

The programme in question was aired on TVM on Monday 12 November.

Dr Farrugia said that the allegations were false, libellous and damaged his reputation and asked for up to Lm5,000 in damages.

The application was signed by Dr Gavin Gulia.
