Heroes in the Sky, the local documentary film, has been chosen by the European Commission to represent Malta in the International Film Festivals in Belgium and Luxembourg during December. Since May, some of the best films from each of the 27 member states have been showing in these two EU states every week.

From a surrealist comedy set in the Netherlands, to the true war story in Malta, this selection offers an insight into the diversity of European cinema representations from member states. Heroes in the Sky will close the festival and will be shown on 18 December.

The festival is one of the activities held to commemorate the signature of the Treaty of Rome 50 years ago. Heroes in the Sky was written, produced and directed by Engelbert Grech and supported by Vodafone Malta Limited. It is showing in all local cinemas.
