Catherine Gonzi, wife of the Prime Minister, recently opened an exhibition of paintings by members of the Pastel Society of Malta at the China Cultural Centre in Melita Street, Valletta. Part of the proceeds of sales from the exhibition will go to the Richmond Foundation and the exhibition will run until 21 November.

The Richmond Foundation provides a process of mental health services that address promotion, prevention and care for good quality of life in the community. The Foundation offers day and residential programmes, home support services and support for suitable housing and employment. It also provides training and support at the place of work and it has also assisted the development of two self-help groups.
