Maltese Foreign Minister Michael Frendo, who visited Libya two days ago, has admitted that the agreement on double taxation needs to be revised.
The Libyan news agency Panapress announced that Dr Frendo met the Secretary of the Popular Committee for Finances, Mohammed Haweij on Thursday.
Dr Frendo assured his Libyan counterparts of Malta’s determination to promote its relations with Libya in many different sectors, in the interests of the two peoples.
Dr Frendo also met the Secretary Assistant of General People’s Committee for Foreign Liaison and International Cooperation Mohamed Tahar Siala.
During the meeting they discussed ways to consolidate Libyan Maltese cooperation’s ties in the field of joint investment and trade exchange.
