A Mosta man was yesterday charged with seriously injuring a policewoman.
Steven Camilleri, 23, was also accused before magistrate Anthony Vella of assaulting and threatening the policewoman, Gabria Gatt, 20, and of resisting arrest in Paceville on Saturday at 4.am.
He was granted bail against a deposit of Lm200 and a personal guarantee of Lm1,000.
Police Inspectors Carlo Ellul and Carmel Abdilla led the prosecution while Dr Anglu Farrugia appeared for the accused.
