A 22-year-old man yesterday pleaded guilty to attempting to injure his mother, brother and a man on Sunday at his house in Cospicua.
Before magistrate Anthony Vella, Stefano Muscat also pleaded guilty to slightly injuring his mother, threatening a police inspector and a doctor at the Cospicua police station and the Paola health centre, insulting all of the above and possessing a knife during the commission of a crime
The magistrate remanded the man in custody until more evidence is brought in court.
Police Inspector Alexander Grech led the prosecution while Dr Stephen Tonna Lowell was defence counsel.
