Bank of Valletta is Gozitan artist Christopher Saliba’s current exhibition “Roots of an Island” at the ‘Loggia’ in the National Museum of Fine Arts in Valletta. The exhibition remains open for the public until 28 January.

The Bank’s sponsorship was presented to the artist by Jack Thewma, Manager BOV Gozo who praised Christopher Saliba for his ability, talent and skills in depicting his artistic technique.

The artist specialised in art education at the University of Malta and was later granted a scholarship at the Accademia di Belle Arti, “Pietro Vannucci”, in Perugia, Italy. He has also taken part in a number of collective exhibitions and produced various installations and video art. Saliba’s works can be found in numerous public and private collections in Malta, Italy, France, UK, Germany, Holland, Luxembourg, USA, Canada and Japan.
