Carol Singing at Hotel Phoenicia doorsteps

Malta Independent Saturday, 22 December 2007, 00:00 Last update: about 14 years ago

The Christmas spirit was high at the Hotel Phoenicia in Floriana when its guests, tourists and locals assisted at carol singing which the management team organised on the doorsteps leading to the hotel’s main entrance.

Carol singing was provided by the Drama Troupe Children’s Choir.

Thirty children aged between six and 10 years from Chiswick House School’s choir sang innovative Christmas carols from a vast repertoire together with older students who performed solo.

Daniel Sciberras, director of sales and marketing, said that due to its popularity, the event has now become an annual activity in the Hotel Phoenicia’s calendar of events.

To make the event even more enjoyable, the hotel offered home made mulled wine and roasted chestnuts to all those who joined in the event.
