A new All Party Parliamentary Group of British Peers and Members of Parliament for Malta, has recently been established in London.

The first meeting of the group was convened by the Maltese High Commissioner, Michael Refalo on 30 January and held at the House of Parliament in Westminster, where the group’s officers were elected.

Michael Clapham MP (Lab) and Jacqui Lait MP (Cons) were elected co-chairmen – Baroness Golding (Lab) Secretary and Lord Kilclooney of Armagh (Independent) Treasurer.
