A man was hospitalised on Monday at 10.30pm after he was hit by a container which was being emptied at Laboratory Wharf.
The man, 50, from Qormi, was taken to Mater Dei Hospital where he was found to be suffering from fractures. He is being held in hospital for observation.
Police investigations are under way.
