The public is invited to visit the Material Recovery Facility (MRF) during an open weekend at the Sant’ Antnin Waste Treatment Plant in Marsascala, on Saturday and Sunday between 10am and 4pm. Attractions during the open days will include exhibitions, information and discussion sessions, Xummiemu shows, and many other educational activities for the whole family. This open weekend is also being organised to coincide with the inauguration of the Material Recovery Facility (MRF), which sorts separated recyclable waste collected from bring-in sites. Participation is free of charge.
