A father and daughter were charged in court with resisting and threatening two Malta Tourism Authority officials who were ordered to close their bar.
John Bonello, 60, and his daughter Caroline Zammit, 31, both from Swieqi, were charged before presiding Magistrate Anthony Vella, with threatening and resisting two public officials who were executing an enforcement notice issued by the MTA and closing down their bar.
They were also charged with insulting and provoking the two officials and breaching the peace.
Police Inspector Carlo Ellul prosecuted and Dr Roberto Montalto appeared for the father and daughter.
