NSTF Students in Bratislava for the Model European Parliament session

Five Maltese and Gozitan students have returned from the Slovak capital Bratislava where they have participated in the Model European Parliament autumn session.

The students from post secondary schools St Aloysius College, Sir M.A. Refalo Post Secondary Complex in Gozo and the Junior College had been nominated “Ambassadors of the NSTF Mini European Assembly” during the last academic year.

While in Bratislava, Albert, Bernadette, Darren, Marie Claire and Martha met with students from the 27 EU Member States as well as from the candidate countries and discussed various topics of global importance and which are on the agenda of the European Parliament.

The experience was made possible through the National Student Travel Foundation. The 20th edition of the NSTF Mini European Assembly has recently been launched with the first session “Financial Crisis – National Intervention vs European Collective Action” being held at the MFSA premises.
